Mobile massage in Madeira
Deep tissue work
that comes to you.
I'm Ivo, a physiotherapist and massage therapist in Madeira. I bring deep tissue and sports massage to your home or wherever you're staying around Funchal, so you can relax straight afterwards instead of driving home.

About Ivo
Hi, I'm Ivo.
I'm a certified physiotherapist and a certified massage therapist, based in Madeira. The physio training means I look at how your whole body moves and where the tension is really coming from, then work it out with deep tissue and sports massage.
Half my clients are visitors recovering from a big hike, the rest are locals stiff from too many desk days. Either way, you get my full focus for the session and you move easier by the time I pack up the table.
“I work deep, but I check in when it matters. It should feel like relief, not something you have to grit your teeth through.”
When it helps
Most people call me when something has been nagging for a while.
Whatever brings you in, I build the session around the spot that's bothering you and the kind of pressure you want. You set both.
Neck, shoulders, and back
The first places to seize up after too long at a laptop, or a flight over to the island. I spend the session where it's built up.
After hiking or training
Heavy legs after a levada walk, or a body that's taken a beating from a hard training week. I get them moving again so you can keep going.
Stiff, stuck areas
When something feels dense or guarded and won't loosen on its own, I work into it slowly until it starts to give.
Pressure that means it
I work deep, but I check in when it matters. It should feel like relief, not something you grit your teeth through.
How it works
What a session actually looks like.
There's no set routine. From the first minute to the last, the work follows your body and what you tell me along the way.
A quick chat first
We start with where it hurts and how firm you want me to go. Couple of minutes and I know where to start.
Hands on the work
Then I get to work with deep tissue, sports, and fascia, at a pace your body can keep up with.
Dialled in as we go
I keep checking in and change the pressure as we go, firmer where it helps, lighter where it doesn't.
Sessions
Two options. Pick how much time you want.
Two lengths, that's it. No packages or upsells, and you book either one in a couple of taps over WhatsApp.
Focused Treatment
The full hour goes into one or two areas that need it most, usually shoulders, back, hips, or legs.
Best for:
- One or two areas that are really nagging
- Desk tension or stiffness from travel
- A solid reset between busy days
Full Body Reset
The extra half hour lets me work through the whole body, or go deep on recovery after a big week outdoors.
Best for:
- Tension that's spread across the body
- Recovery after hiking or hard training
- Time for hips, legs, back, and shoulders
